making dvds

I am having some issues putting some of my home videos on dvds. I have successfully converted the format of my movies to DVD using WinAVI Video Converter. I tried then to burn it to a dvd but it is saying that the movie is too long to fit on the 4.7 GB DVD. I downloaded DVD Shrink but it won't let me import my movie clips. I get the error message:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue

Failed to open file "C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\My Videos\Converted\Disk_0\VIDEO_TS.IFO"

The system cannot not find the file specified



What am I doing wrong?
