Go buy the new system. There are two ways to work it. You can hook it up to the old system as a slave drive and pull your data off of it or you can buy a usb hard drive kit to put the old drive in and then plug it into the USB port of your new system. The kit is about $28.

I just saw a Pentium 4 yesterday with XP home for $199--talk about disposable. :mad:
