contacted HP support on this they were no help was hopeing you could help, when printing, ususaly large colored PDF files, in the middle an offending command sheet prints out, ive done all the suggestions of cold resets, and changeing to port the jet direct is plugged into, I can't attach an external Jet Direct because theres no parrallel connection, and we dont have any spare internals, I can print this to another network printer, and i've tried reinstalling/updating the printer drivers all with the same result.

This could be a spooling problem:
Try going to Start > Control panel > Printer and faxes > right click on your hp printer selecting properties.
Now select the advance tab and check the box for “print directly to the printer” ok your way back out.

See if that fixes the problem

Would this still work for a network printer?

It should work with a network printer but I'm not sure about a print server.
