Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
Girafa

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [loadadv64] C:\WINDOWS\system32\loadadv64
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: fast.dll iexplore.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.dll

If the below is not you ISP name server then have jujackthis fix it also
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{74900F6F-DC9C-4200-9738-505E37F55803}: NameServer = 68.237.161.12 71.250.0.12

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
Girafa

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Delete the following Files/Folders if they exist:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.dll

If you cannot delete these file(s)then:
Start HijackThis and click the Open the misc tools section now click Delete a file on reboot
Select the following file to be deleted on reboot:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\fast.dll

Click open but click no to reboot now and close hijackthis

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin, reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

Hi Gecko
When I selecteed and fixed 04,020,and 017a message came up telling me to email HJT,
but I lost that.
I continued and the new log shows that they are gone.
I could not delete fast.dll in my computer and each time I clicked on delete a file on reboot in HJT it shut down HJT, without giving me a chance to choose the file.
Also, Girafa was not listed any where.
I still have the problem. When you start the computer and go into one of the three profiles every thing works OK.
When you log off and switch to another profile you can't open anything at all.
No matter what you double click on in the desktop the screen looses all the icons and then they all come back without opening the program.
Thanks,Angelo

Your log is clean :)

Let’s see if we can isolate the error from when you switch users.

Go to Start > Control panel > Administrative tools > Event viewer > look in the system section.
You are looking for any red icons, double click on the icon.
If you don’t see any in System then look in Applications and security

Click inside the 'Description' section then highlight the text and copy and paste it into notepad.
At the bottom of the event window check 'words' and then copy and paste that text also
Then past it all of it into this thread.

If you don't show any errors in the event viewer then:
Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery section
Settings button > System Failure section > check the box 'Write an event to the system log'

This is what was in System. There were multiple of these errors in System. There are more in Applications that I copied but did not post. If you need them I have saved them for the future.
Thanks again Angelo

Are you using the Fast User Switching feature or are you logging of and then logging back on as a different user?
