Start menu problems...

Postby Junior_co » Fri Jul 14, 2006 9:48 pm

Well, the other day we had some trouble with the start menu. On my Wife's profile when you went Start: Programs: it said that it was empty. We did a systme restore and everything came back. None of the programs were actually missing, and on my profile everything was still there... Now today we have another state meny problem....

Here is a pic of both our start menus. Notice on the first one, there is stuff missing off the top. It used to look real similar to the second one. The first is my wifes the second is mine.

Any ideas on this??

Here's an easy fix I hope you can live with. Right click on your task bar and left click "properties". Click the "start menu" tab and click the "customize" button. Scroll down to the "use personalized menu's" box and un-check it. Took me forever to figure out that that's why my menu's kept "disappearing". Good luck.
