Will this PSU run this graphics card? (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)

Postby Obinice » Wed Sep 13, 2006 11:28 pm

I need replies asap on this because I purchased this PSU, then decided to change the graphics card I want and I'm not sure if the PSU will be good enough so I have to check with you guys, and if need be I must send the PSU back before they say I can't send it back any more, thus the urgency.

Graphics Card:
BFG Geforce 7950 GX2
http://www.bfgtech.com/7950Gx2_1G_PCIX.html
(Specifically im looking at the bit that says A minimum 450W system power supply (with 12V current rating of 27A or more))

PSU:
OCZ GameXStream 600w
http://www.svc.com/ocz600gxssli.html
(Specifically im looking at the bit that shows the rail ratings (+3.3V(36A), +5V(30A), +12V1(18A), +12V2(18A), +12V3(18A), +12V4(18A) ))

Please get back to me fast, thanks!! And if this PSU won't be enough can you point me to a good one that will?
