Formatting with windows XP

I recently bought the Windows XP Pro upgrade, installed it, and activated it, but my computer has been acting up so I am going to do a format and then a clean install of windows XP Pro(I have the full version of 98).

My question is: Will I be able to activate windows XP again after I format?
Because it says that it will only let u activate it once.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
