Well I'm wanting to create my own Web Site and get it hosted. But in what format and with what program (I guess not Frontpage) and how to keep it simple and cheap 8O

I suggest DreamWeaver. It has enough features to make it easy for noobs to use...and also...if you're not a noob...it lets you be as lazy as you want =).

As for hosting...I would go with my old host MileScape.com they are reliable and what not....and if your site doesn't suck...you can get it sponsored like I got mine and you never have to pay for hosting again =).

As HeadNerd said DreamWeaver will be the best for you to start with.

HTML kit is the way to go for starters , and Freelayouts.com can get u started , use those two things until ur good at making your own ...

hey now, that woud be ILLEGAL. shame on you. i would never consider downloading illegal programs...especially not things like photoshop, 3dsm, WXP...and others....err.. im gonna go...and download some full...err trial versions of expensive programs.

check out with your service provider. A lot of them offer free homepages under their domain: (for example, members.cox.com/vexing000/). It's free and it probably suits your needs. otherwise it's $60/yr for pearl and CGI and way more space/bandwidth than you need. You should check that out. and NameZero.com (i think) has a trial domain name period (i had a free domain name for a year before they asked me to start paying for it.)

And good call on Dreamweaver, that one's the best. :wink:
