Philips DVD 8801 wont read dvds

Postby robbro » Wed Apr 25, 2007 11:30 pm

hey guys long time no speak  i hope everyones good! i know sounds harsh asking a question since i aint been on here a long time... but its been annoying the hell outta me :S. my gf has a Philips DVD 8801 drive but when i was at hers i noticed it wasnt reading any dvds =S. So i tried everything i could think of to make it run like uninstalling the driver and letting xp install it again(as i couldnt find the driver on the net). I was gonna check inside but as its my gfs computer i dont think shed like me opening the comp. I also dont think the wires would be lose at all because she doesnt touch the pc that much. Any idea what i could do ?? :o
