:( my pc is not starting up :( , i get power to the fans enough to let the led's glow but then they turn off after 1/2 a second. the power led stays lit though, i think it may be the psu but im ot sure, i know its not overheating because i have just put in a load of new fans and have never had heat problems before. can anyone help?

Try disconnecting all of the newly installed fans. Especially if they connect to the motherboard. and see if it boots up.

Some of these fans draw enough amps to mess up a MB

cheers it boots up now but i think it was the fact that i had too many fans on one molex connector but then i have a rubbish psu so i may need to upgrade. can u recomend a decent PSU preferably modular cause i dont know the first thing about them?

With the new systems, there is one fan in the P/S, one on the CPU and onother on the side. That should be more than enough. They do sell a cigarette lighter and cup holder that fits in the 5 1/4 bay. For that you may need to upgrade your power supply.

The more fans you have, the more the system becomes a dust filter which is not good.
