Computer auto restart?

new development... my computer freezes now.. and sometimes when I restart I get a

System has recovered from serious error.. details have something to do with my display.driver file or something.. I am going to swap video cards with a geforce 2 and see if that fixes any of my problems.. If not then I am thinking it might be my mother board or something, what are your thoughts?
