Have ALL hdcp components, but it still doesnt work!!!!!!

have a Forsa GeForce® 8500GT D2 which is HDCP compatible, have the updated drivers to make it hdcp compatible!
have a NEW Samsung 226bw HDCP monitor
have updated driver for Monitor, which is weird for me atleast to have to download a driver for a monitor!!!
have Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra installed with HDdvd/BD playback installed
when i open up CyberLink Advisor, it says all is ago except my display is digital but not hdcp, but IT IS!!!!!!! 100^% sure, even returned it and grabbed a new one incase it was defective!!!!

can play back HDDVD with anydvd HD installed and running, but that takes way the HDCP support!???????

i am clueless, and have bought every piece of my computer over the last year bit buy bit so i could watch HD HDCP material!!!!!!

my only guess at this point is i am running WinVista Ult. 64bit
and the nvidia drivers for 64bit are not hdcp, hoping 32bit install would make it work, except i have done 4 reformats and installs of vista64bit in last 48hours trying to get it to work, so frusterated, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi Ghost

Try the 32 bit install. There isn't much software you can run on 64 yet unless you are running a server. In that case the cheapest video card is all you need.

NVidia is still having problems with Vista. Their drivers I downloaded couldn't even see my card. I gave up and went back to XP, I was wasting too much time trying to get things to work.

Hope this is of some help. It's extremely hard to know whats wrong with a system when the operating system is suspect.

thanks for the idea but, i have installed windows vista 32 bit, and there is no difference with the different drivers, i am thinking the handshake between the monitor and videocard is the suspect, the only thing i can think of is updating the bios on the video card, but have no idea where i would get a new version!
