Hey again! Just wanted to say thanks for all your help!

I installed a new fan, now its running about 40-50 when playing games, instead of about 80.

I also found the problem - the heatsink for the CPU was so clogged up that no air would have been getting through. Every slit was thick full of dust. I would have never thought to check that - so thnx heaps!

40-50 sounds a whole lot better! Im glad its back to normal and your absolutly welcome. I also want to let you know that i appreciate you taking the time to come back and offer thanks and following up with this post.
