Quicken 2006 probs

Hey,

I'm back for a few mainly because I do IT work with a lot of online clients, as well as clients through my ITM program at Michigan State University. However, I had a problem even I couldnt fix.

The client I am working for has Quicken 2006, roughly over the past 12 years she has accumulated thousands of files from backup every 7 days and updating Quicken as seen fit. I have to do some crazy file management for her and she tells me that her data for Quicken is running from 5 or more folders on her Hard Drive.

I have looked online for all sorts of Troubleshooting problems to this issue and have not found any help what-so-ever. Mostly, Quicken says that the DATA is saved to a folder Quickenw. So what happens when the Quicken DATA is stored to Quickenw, Quickendata, quickendata1, ******'s files????

Data has obviously been torn to pieces and has been multiplied, duplicated, and I cannot find a simple resolution to finding her financial data files she is working on now. I have found some backup files that should eventually get deleted, granted she doesn't need them anymore but for the most part I am dealing with her company...and basically my hands can get chopped off if this information disappears.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as well as any file management programs anyone might know about!!
