IE7 in vista

What's with the instability of IE7? It freezes really frequently whenever I click on links that open in a new window. Any ideas on how to stop this? I already tried running IE without addons and it still does the same thing.

Hi Robym6

I would go into the bios and check the CPU temperature settings. If you are running on the high end, this could be a bad CPU fan.

The other thing to check with Vista (THE DOG) is the video drivers. I tossed my Vista system because of video driver problems. You might want to check for an updated driver. I don't think that there are any real instability issues with Explorer 7
