I think that a very appropriate usage of

It’s been dispatched so should be on target for tomorrow.
I’m working franticly to get to 6500 words by this afternoon so I can have one last go on my ps3 on the pc monitor before I set it all up nicely tomorrow.

Pic’s will be posted up, but like I said, I won’t have any tv shows for it, but blu-ray is defiantly getting tested and hopefully my 10m dvi-d to hdmi cable will arrive today (for a sneaky trial of pc on tv). :D

Ok I’ve been meaning to post all week, but it was my 21st birthday so I’ve been busy :D

The tv arrived late wednesday afternoon, i thought it would come tuesday but never mind, it was shipped from France! had i have known that i think i would have just paid it a bit more for it to come from England, but at least i got the two year warrenty with it.

Pictures uploaded, let me know what you think :)

The TV arrived in the biggest box you could think of, with the TV stand down one side of it

Set up in my room

My pc monitor

And then extended onto the TV
Image

And a couple pictures of the ps3 on the TV :D
Tiger Woods 08
Image

Call of Duty modern warfare
Image
Image
(With a good time to show off my score, I usually do pretty well but excellent on this occasion)
Image

A couple clips of a dvd rip played over TVersity (media server) through the ps3

3:10 to Yuma (great film)
Image

Standard mode
Image
Theatre mode (supposed to make it more like the theatre I guess, makes picture a bit darker like in the cinema).
Image

The ps3 XMB (fifa 09)
Image

Thought id throw a picture of my new bonsai tree as well
Image
Image

And my messy desk for dissertation work
Image

And my girlfriend bought me the complete set of friends which is brilliant
Image
I’ve wanted it for ages but never fancied shelling out the cash for it lol

And to finish it off, a little clip of the TV show Ghost Whisperer which was also being sent over the media server, great quality for a TV rip and looks superb on the tele.

Apologies for poor quality pictures, my camera on my phone is the only one i have. I diddnt realise i was quite so bad at taking pictures.

I also watched the Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian dvd via my ps3 upscaled to 1080p and I must say, it looked fantastic. I couldn’t believe how good it looked. I cannot get any glare on the TV anywhere in my room. I’m pretty chuffed. I’ve not had much time to game on it yet, as I have work to do.

What do you guys think? Psymon, you will have to come round and play on it at some point (after my diss!)

I can’t mate, I need my work done by the 21st, so I have one week! I’ve gone over the word count but have more to do + editing etc. I’ll be able to hang around after the 21st. When are you going back to pompy? And when do you finish for the year? I’m back at my parents' house for good now.
