Here's what I found:
MOHAA only supports open gl because it's the Quake 3 engine.
If your video card doesn't support open gl, you'll be stuck buying a new one to play, having trouble playing, or not playing at all.
You need the latest open gl drivers.
Search the mohaa cd for glsetup, it might have it.

My card is an ATI 9600pro 128ddr which suppots opengl

Did you go into it's "Properties" to see if it's Enabled/Disabled?
What about the latest drivers?
