Crazy Browser

Postby sapphy » Fri Feb 20, 2004 9:35 pm

Hello, I am having a problem with crazy browser. I am running windows xp home and I basically use my limited account for everything. I recently had to reinstall crazy browser and now it won't let me change any options in the limited account, it won't even let me set it as the default browser. It gives me an error message. I never had this problem until I had to reinstall it. Any ideas?

Thanks

Whats the error message? Also, have you tried (if possible) to assign administrative rights to the account, then change the settings?

As soon as I open crazy browser it asks of I want to set it as a defalut browser and I'll click yes, the next message says failed to set data for. It does the same thing even if I click no. I have tried changing the account to administrativr and then making the change. As soon as its changed back to limited it does the same thing. It's not a huge problem, I'm just not sure why it does it.

thanks

No, I'm not using SpyBot.

It's not that big of a problem, I'm just wondering why it's doing this.

The reason I ask about SpyBot was because I was wondering if you might be running some program that might be preventing you from changing your default browser.

You try running a program called SetBrowser to see if it fixes your problem.
