Please help, can't get rid of Trojan horse Agent_r.XJ

It loos like you may have some damaged/missing system files, so lets run Windows System File Checker to repair/replace them.

Click Start and select "Run" then type the following into the input field and press enter:
sfc /scannow

Pc seems to be running okay, but should I download AVG free edition again or is there something better that I can try?
I have Malwarebytes and Spybot Search & Destroy.

Both of those programs are more removal tools than protection tools, so yes should should install some type of anti virus program.
If you don't want to use AVG you could try it's also free.

Don't forget about Microsoft Security Essentials. It's actually a really good and light Anti Virus. I use it on all my home computers.

I did the above, and a dos screen(at least I think it was) briefly flashed on screen then nothing. Can you tell me what was supposed to happen?

What should have happened right after the command (dos) window's brief flash, the System File Checker progress box should have come up like this one:
