Configuring a Microphone

Postby ThaSpY » Sun Mar 28, 2004 2:06 am

Hello,
I have a new microphone, but it won't record anything. I'm positive it's plugged in the right slot. The thing is, when I record something, it won't record from the micorphone, but instead it records the audio currently playing on the computer, not from the speakers, but its like the recording isn't set to the right device. How do I configure this correctly?
Thanks.

Right Click your Volume Control button in the ask Bar and choose "Adjust Audio Properties".
Look under the Voice Tab and try "Test Hardware".
Also, open the Volume Control and make sure that Microphone isn't Muted.
