I can't seem to configure the HomePage option in 'Internet Options' any more. The entire box has been greyed out and I cannot change it at all. Why is this and how can I enable the Home Page options again?

This sounds like a browser hi-jacking
You should download
Run HijackThis, click the scan button and then copy and paste the results back here.

It might also be a good idea to download and install CWShedder and a good registry vac program called RegVac. Daniel

First, you've got two Firewalls running. Disable either Zanda or ZoneAlarm.
Have HiJack This Fix/Remove the following:
O1 - Hosts: 216.93.168.167 auto.search.msn.com
O1 - Hosts: 216.93.168.167 sitefinder.verisign.com
O1 - Hosts: comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
O2 - BHO: BabeIE - {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} - C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~2\Toolbar\cnbabe.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {000006B1-19B5-414A-849F-2A3C64AE6939} - C:\WINDOWS\bi.dll

Hi guys,

Please ignore me completely if I am barking up the wrong tree, ( I dont really know much about the log files for Hijack_This), but on looking down the list, I noticed the following line

O14 - IERESET.INF: START_PAGE_URL=http://www.blueyonder.co.uk/dial

Doesnt that have anything to do with it?
ColaBoy, Is that the site that is always loading up?

No,that was what I got when I reverted IE to an earlier installed version,Blueyonder used to be my HomePage. This all started when I got an email from Microsoft,it was something to do with their HomePage. It asked me to confirm my location,ie UK,and then language. When I pressed 'OK' it said Error on Page at the bottom of the screen and when ever I pressed HOME it took me back to asking for my location etc again. The homepage become set on 'runonce.'something or other'.

Can't find any trace of Panda to remove.

You might consider downloading , checking for updates and running it on a regular basis, to keep your computer relatively clean of this stuff.
