If you're having problems with The Matrix Reloaded you're probably missing the MPEG2 codec. Quickest fix is to install some kind of DVD player software like WinDVD or PowerDVD.
You can also try http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/MPGDec.zip from http://www.doom9.org
