Thank you to those that tried to help with my posted problem. Unfortunately, taking all those things out of HijackThis did not work.

As a heads up to others, I had a virus that was causing me all those problems with my folders not opening. The virus is as of yet, unnamed and is not posted anywhere on how to fix it. It seems that it appeared on April 1st. All posts from others, on other sites, who have the problem, all report it showing on April 1st. Thankfully, I got rid of it, but I had to reformat my hard drive to do it. As of now, I believe its the only known solution. Got rid of all those pesky hijacker things though, as well as the virus. lol

Brad, thanks for the help. Unfortunately due to time constraints I reformatted the hard drive and reloaded the OS. Its not my favorite way of dealing with problems like these, but the person I was doing this for was eager to get it back. It seems like I have seen this or something similar before. I think it might be a virus also, went as far as to install XP upgrade, but to no avail?
