Well, I tried to select large disk support, the first time, but parititioning seemed like it didn't work correctly and that was affirmed when I tried to reformat (no loading time) and enter Windows98 setup, this program informed me I didn't have the required space to install windows, what I am thinking is the hard drive space was configured with a more advanced partioning or cluster system then fat32 because how it is currently setup now, windows recognizes it as an NT setup with only 2 GB total(fat16??). It somehow wouldn't let me downgrade it which is odd, the motherboard chipset supports win98, and every other form of windows. The hard drive is actually 120 gig, I mistyped earlier, it is a 120 GB Western Digital Hard Drive (7200 RPM - whatever that means) with a Matsonic MS-8308E chipset/mainboard. Also as it stands now, the drivers aren't even correctly installed, which if i do get them to work I still might have to fdisk/reformat when I find the cause to my problem, any suggestion would be helpful and let me know if you need additional information.

I'd fdisk and format again before you have data that needs to be saved.
But first I'd check for any available Bios updates, just to be sure.

Might consider downloading from Western Digital. If you have all the data you want from it backed up,use that to write zero's to the drive. This will remove EVERYTHING from it,including any existing partitions.

Sounds like you formated with FAT16.. Format again, this time make sure you delete the partition, recreate and then format, enable Large Disk Support and use FAT32..
