HARD DRIVing me craaaazy!

Lately, especially in the evening, my computer has been sooooo slooooow. Every website, every IM, anything I do sloooowly crawls on to the screen and gradually comes into view. What's up??

It could be lots of things... Can you give us anymore infomation like when this started, what programs you are running, and your computer specs

I'd suspect either Adware or a Virus causing your problems. Do you have an anti-virus program installed?

You can check out housecall antivirus to check for virusus if you don't have an antivirus program installed.

To check for adware, i'd suggest either AdAware by Lavasoft or, SpyBot - Search and Destroy, both of which have free versions that work very well.
