Y cant i play my dvds????????

I have recently brought a dvd player and i am trying to watch a few dvds on it and they all say the same error when i try and play them using the software provided (Power DVD 4.0) it says that my tv out iisnt working properly and that i need to disable my tv out for the dvd to play what can i do?:o (I have a Geforce 3 ti200) :evil:

Also, I know it sounds simple, but have you tried updating to the latest official drivers (from www.nvidia.com)?
