Sasser Problem

Hi,

I was hit by the Sasser worm about 24 hours ago and have downloaded Microsoft's patch and used my virus software to erase infected files and remove suspect ones. However I am still getting messages every so often saying I can't write to memory and now my virus software and registry editor won't open for me to use, maybe other things as well if I tried them, what will be the best way to rectify this ?

Did you use the removal tool? Do you know which version you have? There seems to be 5 diff versions.

W32.Sasser.Worm
W32.Sasser.B.Worm
W32.Sasser.C.Worm
W32.Sasser.D.Worm
W32.Sasser.E.Worm

I apologize, if you are using McAfee, I have no info for you about the Sasser Worm. Please, one of the other members Im sure will fix you up.
