Your sound and Graphics and or Modem aren't sharing IRQ's are they?

Have you posted this before - Sure I've seen this one b4, never noted the outcome though :-(

I would start-up the PC and then start each app up 1 at a time.
You might be able to pin the app thats causing the prob.
I would run MSN MESS and Sonique together, then add in WNMX,see what happenns.
I would make sure that all 3 apps are the latest version with any updates applied as well.
It's surely a conflict between the apps...just gotto figure out which 2!

All 3 apps are Resource hogs we know that.

Try this.

Start your computer in safemode. Once there, go to start > run.

In the "Run:" box, type: MSCONFIG.

Press enter and wait for the new screen to show up.

Look for the tab: STARTUP.

Click that tab, and you'll notice a bunch of little squares with check marks in them. Uncheck ALL the squares and restart your computer. Your system will automatically start the system files, and this will also tell you if it's a problem with your programs.

Yup you can do that as well, but I would REMOVE the ticks from those 3 APPS if they are in the START-UP TAB.
I WOULD NOT REMOVE ALL the ticks as suggested in the above post though.
