What is the best way to install memory sticks.
Say you have 2 sticks, 1 is 256mb and 1 is 128mb. Should you always put the larger stick in the no.1 slot? Just asking, I always did it that way but wasnt sure if some mobo's may require you to add them differently.

It's a good rule of thumb to put the Larger stick of memory in the first slot.

the only reason i would ever go against the bigger memory first is if I had a really high quality (brand name) small module and a off name (generic) bigger module.
