He is on DSL and I'm sure he has plenty of updates to catch up on. I thought maybe it was taking so long because of the amount of updates he's behind so I just waited at 66% but when I decided to cancel the application and try it again, when I closed the window, it said "not responding" (something like that) so I don't think it was still downloading. I'll try shutting down his anti virus first next time. Its hard to see what he needs to download if I can't get it to list them.
I'll let you know what happens and thanks again!

Update.........
While waiting on the Security Update CD to come in, I passed by my brother's house and tried updating Windows again.
It listed the necessary updates he needs to download but when I started the downloading.....I got "Update encountered an error 0X800A138f and can't display requested page".
Also I ran WinDoctor again and found a missing file "mscoree.dll" and WinDoctor was unable to fix that.
Any ideas guys?

Essentially when your computer communicates with the Windows Update website. It uses TWO technologies called:

Active X - to interact with the Microsoft site. The first time you visit the Update website, using your profile, you are asked if you will accept the Windows Update Control Package (the Active X control) onto your machine.

Read here for more info...

On your missing .dll file, read this:
http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108178

Here's a link to download the dll file:
