I did some research on your camera and I found a couple of things that might help.
1. If the program freezes, or your computer has trouble while you are using Zoom Browser EX, the database may be corrupted.
If this occurs, follow the procedure below to restore the database.
The following procedure is for Zoom Browser EX Ver.3.xx users.
Follow the procedure below to check the Zoom Browser EX version.
a. Start Zoom Browser EX.
b. The version number is displayed under the "ZOOMBROWSER" logo in the top right corner of Zoom Browser EX startup screen.
Solution
a. Start Zoom Browser EX.
b. Once Zoom Browser is started, select [Database] from the [File] menu on the tool bar.
c. In the [Zoom Browser EX database] dialog box click [Restore].
d. A dialog box is displayed with a message asking whether you want to continue the process. Click [OK}.
e. The [Restoration is successfully completed] message is displayed when restoration is complete.
To complete this procedure, click [OK].
2. You can also upgrade your Zoom Browser EX, from Canon’s web site to Version 4.0.2.
